About
In 2003, Daniella made the intentional decision to stay at home and raise her three daughters, serving as the steady anchor of her family for the past 22 years. Today, they are all grown, pursuing college and university, and contributing to their communities in meaningful ways. Daniella believes motherhood is one of the most demanding and undervalued roles in society—and she’s proud of what she built professionally and philanthropically while also navigating the immense challenge of raising three girls in today’s culture. Of everything she has accomplished, this has been the most demanding and challenging—and also the most gratifying and joy-filled role of her life. FULL BIOGRAPHY
Daniella Revitt is an author, empowerment coach, speaker, singer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist based in Burnaby, British Columbia. She is known for a story-driven approach to leadership and personal growth—rooted in the belief that real impact often begins quietly, through presence, character, and intentional kindness.
Her work spans coaching, authorship, education, creative leadership, and community development, all woven together by a deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit.
The Roles That Shaped Her Most
While Daniella has worn many titled hats, the roles that shaped her most are deeply personal. She is a mother of three daughters, and she credits motherhood—and more than two decades of anchoring family life with care and intention—with teaching her the meaning of unconditional love, resilience, and grace.
That kind of love doesn’t end when a chapter shifts. It stays with you. It becomes part of how you move through the world.
Those lived experiences became more than a season of life; they formed the foundation of who Daniella is and how she leads—grounded, compassionate, and deeply human.
A Journey Rooted in Story, Struggle, and Meaning
Daniella’s journey includes joy and heartbreak, clarity and confusion, deep connection and unexpected loss. Like many, she has navigated change she didn’t choose—seasons that required her to walk alongside imperfection, to keep showing up even when her best felt like it wasn’t enough, and to find strength she didn’t know she had.
Over time, she came to believe that authenticity is where real power lives: in vulnerability, in honesty about our struggles, and in the willingness to be generous with our stories—without pretending to have it all figured out.
At her core, Daniella is a seeker—curious about the human experience and drawn to the deeper “why.” She is fascinated by human interaction and continually explores human psychology, personal growth, and—most recently—conflict resolution, always looking for deeper understanding of what shapes people, relationships, and the choices we make.
She believes empathy begins with listening, and that when people are given space to be seen and heard, they often realize they are not as alone—or as different—as they once believed.
She also believes that when we serve from the places shaped by our struggles, we create space for healing—not just for others, but for ourselves. Pain can hold purpose. Struggles can light the way. Even setbacks can become the foundation for a meaningful comeback.
A Seed Planted in the Darkest Moment
Daniella’s commitment to intentional kindness is not theoretical; it is lived.
In 2008, her eldest daughter was four years old when something suddenly changed. Over a long and frightening 24-hour period, Daniella watched her child lose coordination, balance, and language. Her bright, curious mind seemed to fade before her eyes.
At Children’s Hospital, a team of neurologists discovered a brain mass and inflammation pressing on her cerebellum. What followed were months of tests, scans, sleepless nights, and an unbearable waiting game—no clear answers, no certainty about what would come next.
And yet, in the middle of that storm, something extraordinary happened.
People showed up.
Not with grand gestures—but with intentional ones. Notes. Hand-coloured rainbows from children they didn’t know. Home-cooked meals. Small gift cards meant to help exhausted parents stay awake through another night. Help with parking. Teachers arriving after long days to read a story. Prayer blankets knit by elderly women in the community. Churches bringing meals to a family they had never met.
It was overwhelming. And it carried them.
Her daughter healed and is doing well today. But Daniella never forgot what that season revealed: in deep pain, even the smallest act of kindness can breathe life back into a weary soul, spark hope in the darkest places, and begin healing where people didn’t even know they were wounded.
The Intentional Acts of Kindness Foundation
That season became the heartbeat behind Daniella’s philanthropic work. She co-founded the Intentional Acts of Kindness Foundation, grounded in a simple but profound belief: the world changes when people choose to live with intention, compassion, and care—especially when the world suggests otherwise.
The foundation exists to remind people that real, lasting impact rarely starts with dramatic gestures. It starts with presence. With noticing. With doing what we can, with what we have, right now.
Education, Youth, and Leadership Development
Through the Intentional Acts of Kindness Foundation, Daniella created a leadership workbook titled Once Upon a Story, currently used in some Burnaby schools’ leadership classes.
The workbook guides students through reflective self-discovery activities and questions, and culminates in a capstone project where students interview someone from a different culture or generation. At its heart is a powerful idea: we share common threads, and we often have far more in common than we realize.
By approaching themselves and others with curiosity instead of judgment, students are supported in becoming more compassionate, more understanding, and more connected to the world around them.
In addition, Daniella facilitates talks, workshops, and reflective experiences for elementary and high-school students—helping young people explore kindness, resilience, and how adversity can be transformed into purpose.
Coaching, Speaking, and Corporate Leadership
Daniella’s coaching and speaking work is shaped by compassion, honesty, courage, and responsibility. She works with people navigating transitions, craving clarity, building something new, or trying to heal something old.
Her approach isn’t a pitch. It’s an invitation.
She offers a complimentary one-hour session to every new client—no pressure, no sales script—just a chance to connect, remember what’s possible, and decide from there.
At the heart of her coaching is a grounded belief: people already hold what they need. Her role is simply to help them remember who they were before the world dimmed their light, before doubt took root, and before anyone convinced them they were anything less than a powerful force to be reckoned with.
Authorship, Creativity, and Princess Penella
Storytelling is one of Daniella’s most enduring tools for change. While raising her daughters, she created the character Princess Penella to embody the qualities she hoped to instill in them—kindness, courage, self-respect, grit, and grace.
In the first book, readers meet an ordinary girl on a mission to make the world kinder, learning that true beauty is found in how we treat ourselves and others. Each book in the collectible series invites children into colourful, imaginative worlds filled with compassion, courage, and self-belief.
Princess Penella has been part of Daniella’s family since 2007 and is now featured in some Burnaby school libraries. Daniella currently holds the Princess Penella trademark, with plans to thoughtfully expand the character’s reach and offerings.
Publishing the first book was also a lesson in imperfection. After nearly two decades of waiting for the “right time,” Daniella chose action over perfection—sharing a story that mattered, even before conditions felt ideal. Her message remains simple: start where you are, with what you have.
Creative & Professional Background
Alongside raising a family and leading extensive community initiatives, Daniella spent 12 years contracting her creative skills internationally as a content creator and narrative designer for an overseas company. This work sharpened her ability to craft meaningful stories, build emotional resonance, and design experiences that connect people across cultures.
Community Leadership, Mentorship, and Accessibility Advocacy
Born and raised in Burnaby, Daniella remains deeply rooted in her community.
She is an active mentor with the Beedie Luminaries program, supporting post-secondary students in academic success, leadership development, and career growth.
She also serves as an active board member of the Long Table Society, a charitable organization focused on food security for vulnerable individuals.
As a community liaison and program developer, Daniella has created intergenerational programs from the ground up—bringing seniors and youth together in meaningful ways that foster connection, dignity, and mutual learning.
Her accessibility advocacy includes work with the City of New Westminster’s Wheelability Project, where she created a documentary highlighting real barriers faced by residents who use mobility aids. She also supported the City’s Welcoming and Inclusive initiatives by contributing to a video that helped secure a government grant of approximately $500,000.
The Rise Within (Launch Fall 2026)
Inspired by the resilience she witnessed in others—and within herself—Daniella is currently co-creating The Rise Within, a global anthology featuring multiple co-authors sharing stories of adversity, courage, and transformation.
The project reflects her belief that when stories are shared honestly, they become bridges—reminding us that even in broken places, something strong and meaningful can rise.
Book launch expected Fall 2026.
What She Hopes to Leave Behind
Through both her work and her way of being, Daniella’s lived experiences—marked by loss, trials, and near-misses—have taught her a profound truth: the breath in our lungs is not a right, but a gift. Every breath. Every heartbeat. A gift.
After a near-death experience in 2012, this reality became unmistakably clear. It is why she has made it her life’s mission not only to learn and grow, but to remain kind and true along the way—to leave behind reminders that love still matters, stories matter, and that even the smallest light, the tiniest act—a note on the scrappiest piece of paper—can make a difference in someone else’s life. Kinder communities begin with us: by doing our own inner work, finding grace for ourselves in the mess, and then extending that same grace outward.
She believes we are threads in the same tapestry, connected in quiet, invisible ways—and that sometimes all it takes to remember this is to pause, to listen, and to recognize a piece of ourselves in someone else’s story.
